October in Golden Autumn

“金秋十月”——景德镇陶瓷大学艺术与科技成就展，于2023年10月28日在景德镇龙泉研究院开幕。此次展览共展出80件艺术作品，涵盖了雕塑、陶瓷器皿、瓷板画、玻璃、油画、书法、国画等门类，并共同展出了11项陶瓷科技创新成果，集中展示了景德镇陶瓷大学在陶瓷材料、设计、艺术等成果内容，体现了景德镇陶瓷大学师生孜孜不倦的学术创新。以期借助景德镇大学龙泉研究院这一平台，创新市校合作模式，通过产学研结合，推动龙泉青瓷创新发展。

"The Golden Autumn October" — The Art and Technology Achievement Exhibition of Jingdezhen Ceramic University opened on October 28, 2023, at the Longquan Research Institute in Jingdezhen. This exhibition showcased a total of 80 art pieces, encompassing various categories such as sculpture, ceramic vessels, porcelain paintings, glasswork, oil paintings, calligraphy, traditional Chinese painting, and more. Additionally, it featured 11 innovative achievements in ceramic technology, providing a comprehensive display of the accomplishments of Jingdezhen Ceramic University in ceramic materials, design, and art. The exhibition highlighted the tireless academic innovation of the faculty and students of Jingdezhen Ceramic University. With the aim of leveraging the platform of the Longquan Research Institute, it seeks to innovate the collaboration model between the city and the university, promote innovation and development in Longquan celadon through industry-academia collaboration, and showcase the achievements in ceramic technology.

任何民族、区域的传统工艺技术之所以从古到今的延续和发展，其中教育和交流是重要力量。

Education and exchange are an important force in the continuation and development of traditional craft techniques of any nation or region from ancient times to the present.

从中国陶业学堂到景德镇陶瓷大学近百年的办学历史，已发展成为国内唯一一所以陶瓷命名的多学科性大学，是全国首批31所独立设置的本科艺术院校之一、94所具有资格招收中国政府奖学金来华留学生的高校之一，是中西部高校基础能力建设工程支持高校、教育部卓越工程师教育培养计划高校、教育部深化创新创业教育改革示范高校、全国创新创业典型经验高校和首批转型发展试点院校、江西省一流学科建设高校。被业界誉为陶瓷的黄埔、艺术界的“陶院现象”。

From the Chinese Ceramics Academy to Jingdezhen Ceramics University, it has developed into the only multi-disciplinary university named after ceramics in China. It is one of the first 31 independently established undergraduate art colleges in the country, one of 94 colleges qualified to accept students from the Chinese government on scholarships, a model college with basic capacity building projects for colleges and universities in the central and western regions, the Ministry of Education's Engineer Excellence Education and Training Program university, the model university for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform by Ministry of Education, and the first batch of colleges with typical innovation and entrepreneurship education reform in Jiangxi Province. Huangpu has been hailed by the industry as ceramics, and the “pottery garden phenomenon” in the art world.

总所周知，中国是瓷的母邦，瓷器的发明曾深刻地改变影响了世界政治、经济、文化的格局，而景德镇的青花、龙泉的青瓷则是世界认知、理解中国、甚至东方文化重要的代表。它们的艺术高度也决定各自城市的精神高度。毫无疑问，跨区域、跨文化的多样性交流合作已然成为传统陶瓷产区产业转型和升级的方式之一。景德镇陶瓷大学和龙泉市政府合作成立的研究院将在产业发展、学术交流、技术研发、人才培养、国际交流实现优势互补、资源共享、协同发展。

As is well known, China is the mother country of porcelain. The invention of porcelain has profoundly changed the pattern of world politics, economy, and culture, while blue and white from Jingdezhen and celadon from Longquan are important representatives of world knowledge, understanding of China, and even Oriental culture. Their artistic level also determines the spiritual height of their respective cities. Without doubt, diverse exchanges and cooperation across regions and cultures have become one of the ways to transform and upgrade industries in traditional ceramic production areas. The research institute, which is jointly established by Jingdezhen Ceramics University and the Longquan Municipal Government, will achieve complementary advantages, resource sharing, and collaborative development in industrial development, academic exchanges, technology research and development, talent training, and international exchanges.

时值美好的金秋时节，龙泉研究院的揭牌之际，在人类非物质遗产代表作的产地---龙泉，迎来景德镇陶瓷大学优秀成果展，展览本着陶瓷大学办学的鲜明性，我们从学术性、丰富性、可转化性考量，择选了80件陶瓷大学教师艺术与设计的作品和11项陶瓷科技创新，展览不仅仅是让观众通过雕塑、绘画、陶艺等多样的艺术形式获得审美的感受和体验，我们希望通过展览串接起审美、教育、行业甚至城市间的多维互动，感受陶瓷的现当代活力，更希望展示的作品所绽放精神力量能够激活传统并成为思考创新的驱动力。

On the occasion of the opening of the Longquan Research Institute during the beautiful golden autumn season, in Longquan, the birthplace of representative works of intangible human heritage, we welcome the Outstanding Achievements Exhibition of Jingdezhen Ceramics University. Based on the clarity of running a ceramic university, we have selected 80 works of art and design by ceramic university teachers and 11 ceramic technology innovations. The exhibition can allow the audiences to gain aesthetic feelings and experiences through various art forms such as sculpture, painting, and ceramics. We hope that through the exhibition, we will even connect multi-dimensional interaction of aesthetics, education, cities, and industries, feel modern and contemporary vitality of ceramics. We also hope that the spiritual power emanating from the works on display can activate tradition and become a driving force for thought and innovation.
