Jin Nanxi

Jin Nanxi is a multidisciplinary artist currently based in Chicago. She earned her BFA in Art and Design from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University in 2020, followed by an MFA in Ceramics from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2022.

Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at Ceramic Art Avenue Gallery (2019), NYCxDesign during New York Design Week (2021), and :iidrr Gallery (2023). She is the recipient of prestigious awards such as:

• First Prize, 2022 "Shiwan Cup" National Youth Ceramic Art Competition

• Silver Award, 12th China Ceramic Art Exhibition

• Silver Award, China National Ethnic Craft Art Competition

Notably, her piece "Various Vase" is part of the permanent collection at the Guangdong Shiwan Ceramic Museum.
