2024年3月14日,景德镇陶瓷大学龙泉研究院荣幸邀请到了英国艺术家张逸斌(Gordon Cheung)与策展人孫妮思(Inez Suen)带来了一场主题为《从艺人生》的讲座。龙泉青瓷行业从业人员和丽水职业技术学院龙泉分院及龙泉青瓷宝剑技师学院师生等近90人参加了此次讲座。


On March 14, 2024, the Longquan Research Institute of Jingdezhen Ceramic University had the honor of inviting British artist Gordon Cheung and curator Inez Suen to give a lecture titled " Making Living from Art". Nearly 90 people attended the lecture, including practitioners in the Longquan celadon industry, students and faculty from Lishui Vocational and Technical College in Longquan.

在讲座的开始,张逸斌与孫妮思分别讲述了自己在艺术道路上的奋斗历程。张逸斌谈到了他的艺术学习经历,以及如何在早期艺术生涯中形成自己独特的艺术风格。他强调,艺术之路并非坦途,需要不断地学习、实践和反思,才能找到属于自己的艺术语言。孫妮思则分享了她从一名普通艺术爱好者成长为资深策展人的心路历程,以及她如何为艺术家们搭建展示才华的舞台,推动艺术的交流与传播。


At the beginning of the lecture, Gordon Cheung and Inez Suen respectively shared their struggles and experiences on their artistic paths. Gordon Cheung talked about his artistic learning experience and how he developed his unique artistic style early in his career. He emphasized that the road of art is not easy and requires continuous learning, practice, and reflection to find one's own artistic language. Inez Suen shared her journey from an ordinary art enthusiast to a senior curator, and how she built a stage for artists to showcase their talents, promoting the exchange and dissemination of art.



讲座的后半部分,两位主讲人共同探讨了他们的合作经历,以及在艺术道路上积累的宝贵建议。张逸斌特别提到了一次与画廊的失败合作经历,他们通过这个案例深刻剖析了艺术与商业艺术之间的差异,并告诫在场的从艺人员,在追求艺术梦想的同时,也要学会保护自己的权益,树立自我保护的意识和法律意识。他们认为,艺术家应该保持对艺术的热爱和执着,但也要学会与商业世界进行巧妙地沟通和合作。


In the latter part of the lecture, the two speakers discussed their collaborative experiences and shared valuable advice accumulated on their artistic paths. Gordon Cheung particularly mentioned a failed collaboration with a gallery, using this case to deeply analyze the differences between art and commercial art. He cautioned the artists present to protect their rights and develop a sense of self-protection and legal awareness while pursuing their artistic dreams. They believed that artists should maintain their passion and dedication to art, but also learn to communicate and cooperate skillfully with the commercial world.

在讲座的最后,两位主讲人张逸斌与孫妮思与现场观众进行了深入的交流互动,对于观众提出的各种问题都给予了详尽而富有洞见的答复。当谈及日常创作经历时,张逸斌分享道,他每天都沉浸在创作的快乐之中,这也是他能够持续创作的动力源泉。他强调,艺术创作不仅仅是为了追求外在的成就和认可,更是为了寻找内心的满足和愉悦。他进一步鼓励在场的艺术从业人员,要珍惜每一次创作的机会,用心去体验创作过程中的每一个细节,从中找到属于自己的快乐和动力。他相信,只有真正热爱艺术、享受艺术创作的人,才能在艺术的道路上走得更远、更高。


At the end of the lecture, Gordon Cheung and Inez Suen engaged in a deep interaction with the audience, providing detailed and insightful answers to various questions raised. When discussing their daily creative experiences, Zhang shared that he immerses himself in the joy of creation every day, which is also the source of his continued creativity. He emphasized that artistic creation is not only about pursuing external achievements and recognition but also about seeking inner satisfaction and joy. He further encouraged artists present to cherish every opportunity to create, to experience every detail of the creative process with care, and to find their own happiness and motivation in it. He believed that only those who truly love art and enjoy artistic creation can go further and higher on the path of art.
