2024年6月9日下午,MANADA" ——南美厄瓜多尔艺术家Tomás Carpio个人展览在景德镇陶瓷大学龙泉研究院隆重开幕。龙泉陶瓷大师夏侯文、陈坛根、徐定昌、陈善林、卢伟孙、叶小春、陈永德、李邦强、徐建新、梅红玲、黄长伟、陈华、徐哲华等,中国台湾台南艺术大学张清渊教授,加拿大籍艺术家黄博施先生,周珍女士,丽水学院青瓷学院杨吴伟副院长、竺娜亚教授,及中国美术学院徐鑫桦老师,龙泉职高张立老师、江黎丽老师、杨宸星老师等高校师生代表,龙泉青瓷行业从业者,以及美国纽约城市大学皇后学院的何善影教授、美国麻省艺术视觉学院的梁汉昌教授、厄瓜多尔艺术家Alegría Mateljan,印度艺术家Vinod kumar、Rashi Jain,丹麦艺术家Keenan julies等国内外嘉宾80余人出席了此次开幕仪式。开幕式由执行策展人吴凡沁主持,由策展人景德镇陶瓷大学博士生导师金文伟教授及艺术家Tomás Carpio致辞并宣布开幕。
On the afternoon of June 9, 2024, "MANADA" - the solo exhibition of South American Ecuadorian artist Tomás Carpio, grandly opened at the Longquan Research Institute of Jingdezhen Ceramic University. The opening ceremony was attended by Longquan ceramic masters such as Houwen Xia, Tanggen Chen, Dingchang Xu, Shanlin Chen, Weisun Lu, Xiaochun Ye, Yongde Chen, Bangqiang Li, Jianxin Xu, Hongling Mei, Changwei Huang, Hua Chen, and Zhehua Xu; Professor Qingyuan Zhang from Tainan National University of the Arts in Taiwan; Canadian artist Boshi Huang; Ms. Zhen Zhou; Vice Dean Wuwei Yang and Professor Naya Zhu from the Qingci Academy of Lishui University; Teacher Xinhua Xu from the China Academy of Art; and representatives of teachers and students from Longquan Vocational High School, including Li Zhang, Lili Jiang, and Chenxing Yang. The ceremony also saw the participation of ceramic industry professionals from Longquan, as well as over 80 domestic and international guests, including Professor Sin-ying Ho from Queens College, City University of New York, Professor Liang Fred Hanchang from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Ecuadorian artist Alegría Mateljan, Indian artists Vinod Kumar and Rashi Jain, and Danish artist Keenan Julies. The opening ceremony was hosted by Executive Curator Fanqin Wu, with speeches and the official opening announced by Curator and Professor Wenwei Jin, Ph.D. advisor at Jingdezhen Ceramic University, and artist Tomás Carpio.

研究院执行院长金文伟教授在开幕式上表示,这次展览是中国与南美厄瓜多尔陶瓷艺术的友好交流的体现。金教授强调,不同文化背景下的陶瓷艺术相互碰撞,不仅激发了艺术家的创作灵感,更为龙泉青瓷这一中国传统艺术注入了新的活力和可能性。
Professor Jin Wenwei, Executive Director of the Research Institute, stated at the opening ceremony that this exhibition is a testament to the friendly exchange of ceramic arts between China and Ecuador in South America. Professor Jin emphasized that the collision of ceramic arts from different cultural backgrounds not only inspires the creative imagination of artists but also injects new vitality and possibilities into Longquan celadon, a traditional Chinese art.

艺术家Tomás Carpio在开幕式上表达了对中国同行的感谢,并对研究院团队给予的大力支持表示了崇高的敬意。他还表示,他很荣幸能和妻子一起来到中国体验不同的陶瓷艺术,并和人们分享。在接受记者的采访时,他毫不掩饰自己对龙泉青瓷的热爱和向往,并表示,未来在自己的艺术创作中,将尝试融入青瓷的元素,探索更多艺术表现的可能性。
At the opening ceremony, the artist Tomás Carpio expressed his gratitude to his Chinese colleagues and extended his profound respect to the research institute team for their strong support. He also mentioned that he feels honored to be in China with his wife to experience and share different ceramic arts. During an interview with reporters, he openly expressed his love and admiration for Longquan celadon. He stated that in his future artistic creations, he will try to incorporate elements of celadon, exploring more possibilities for artistic expression.
